Bulford Army Base in Salisbury, welcomes the first of many, outdoor Strength and Conditioning Shelters for the British Army.
At the beginning of 2021, the British Army released a public tender, requiring a selection of Strength and Conditioning Shelters for camps around the UK. BeaverFit specialise in the design and manufacture of fitness equipment, container gyms and tactical training solutions – making us the strongest candidate in the delivery of this project.
This large facility is the peak of innovation, set to introduce a new form of training for the troops that enables them to train in the elements. This ensures that they are mentally and physically prepared for weather variations when out on deployment and helps to avoid musculoskeletal injuries while also boosting their mental adaptation.
BeaverFit partnered with ZeroAlpha Solutions to offer solar panels for the shelter, making this solution the first ever fully-sustainable fitness facility owned by the Armed Forces.

As 2021 progresses, we will see an increasing number of BeaverFit Strength and Conditioning Shelters starting their construction, enrolling a variety of progressing soldiers onto the next steps of their health and fitness development.
