3 key considerations when building a live-fire shoothouse

When designing a live fire shoothouse, there are a range of factors to consider. As traditional outdoor solutions face growing limitations, modular indoor solutions are fast becoming the preferred choice for military and tactical teams worldwide.
Enhancing security without rebuilding: Is retrofitting the smartest way to upgrade?

Imagine transforming an outdated facility into a fortress of modern security – without the hefty price tag or the disruption that comes with new construction.
Retrofitting offers a strategic solution: it enables you to strengthen and modernise existing infrastructure with minimal downtime, reduced cost, and enhanced discretion.
What are the advantages of modular high-security solutions?

Security threats are constantly evolving, yet many organisations are stuck with rigid, outdated infrastructure that lacks the flexibility to adapt.
Traditional construction can be slow to implement, expensive to modify, and challenging to scale. So, how can businesses stay ahead of emerging risks while ensuring efficiency and long-term resilience?
Rapid deployment security: Can containerised solutions tackle modern threats?

Governments, defence organisations, and prime contractors often face significant challenges when it comes to setting up secure facilities. Whether it’s for critical infrastructure or military operations, traditional construction methods can be slow, costly, and inflexible. Add to that the rise of advanced threats, logistical constraints, and a growing demand for mobility – and the problem only intensifies.
Building a sustainable future: DREAM-enabled gym solutions for the MOD

Sustainability in defence infrastructure is no longer a luxury – it’s a necessity.
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has committed to ensuring all new build construction projects meet the highest environmental standards through the Defence-Related Environmental Assessment Methodology (DREAM).
What to consider when building a secure space for critical national infrastructure

Imagine a scenario where sensitive data is stolen, classified materials go missing, or a facility faces an unexpected breach. The consequences can be severe.
Whether you’re protecting discussions, data, confidential documents, or critical digital infrastructure, choosing the right secure facility is the first line of defence. Here’s what to consider.
Designing your gym for Hyrox success

If you’re intrigued by the rising fitness trend of Hyrox, you’re not alone.
In the UK alone, Hyrox has seen a remarkable rise in popularity, with a 233% year-on-year increase in Google searches and partnerships with around 750 gyms, according to Women’s Health Magazine.
What university gyms need to attract Gen Z

Gen Z, now the largest generation according to Les Mills’ ‘What do Gen Z want from a gym?’ report, have unique expectations when it comes to fitness. Unlike previous generations, they don’t want to stick to just one type of workout – they want variety, flexibility and a fun environment that keeps them coming back.
3 ways to utilise unused space in your gym

Here at BeaverFit, we understand the importance of utilising your fitness facility to its fullest potential. However, that isn’t always possible given the limited floor space or inconvenient room layout.

CASE STUDY – AIR DELIVERY TRAINING TOWER FOR THE IRISH AIR CORPS. The Irish Air Corps required a BeaverFit Air Delivery Training Tower (ADP) to replicate multiple, real-life obstacles with the aim of facilitating a range of demonstrable exercises, enhancing the end users’ physical capabilities. The primary purpose of this project was to simulate a AW139 fuselage to replicate search and rescue for rear crew hoist training. Enabling repetitive training to better develop the teams concentration skills and intuitive understanding, expressing the need for the aircraft use. This facility includes; Air Delivery Platform (ADP), for fast roping, repelling and simulated AW139, abseiling for the use of the Urban Training Tower at approximately 40ft high, after action review and control room demonstrable through the digital cameras positioned throughout the facility. The Training Tower at the Irish Air Corps has enabled the client to be able to utilise their time more efficiently, save money on aviation fuel and offer consistent conditions and training for all of their users – offering further advances in both mental and physical development. All of our BeaverFit solutions and facilities can be customised according to your requirements.
