The British Army in Catterick wanted to create a new and updated Urban Training Facility, which was to form part of the current Whinny Hill training area with more traditional infrastructure.
BeaverFit SOE designed, manufactured, and installed a large-scale hyper-realistic training village for a defence training estate – operated by Landmarc Support Services.
This concept offers urban exercises and activities, and simulative training that enables the users and operators to train in true-to-life and situational environments.
This solution comprised multi-storey buildings, an urban training tower with a simulated lift shaft and air-delivery platform, method of entry doors and windows, and reconfigurable rooms and doors.
